The Natural Course of Radiographic Progression in Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis severity, symptoms and complications can vary greatly between individuals.

A recent study published in the Journal of Rheumatology concludes that, "Radiographic progression in AS is rather variable and many patients show high rates of progression." And that, "Predicting radiographic progression remains difficult."

The study was aimed at describing the natural course of disease progression by using x-rays and to examine different rates of progression.
